ABOUT ME

I was educated in medicine at the Université Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg and at the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, where I also completed doctoral studies.

Already during the specialization in gynecology and obstetrics, I was fascinated by the subject of balance, resulting from the interpenetration of the influence of hormones, genetic and environmental factors, lifestyle, diet and psychological factors on the human body.

EXPERIENCE

My personal experience has made gaining knowledge in the field of diet therapy my passion, confirmed by obtaining diplomas and certificates from international scientific societies and training under the supervision of masters in the field of endocrinology, microbiology, dietetics, supplementation and psychology. The natural culmination of this process was a specialization training in obesitology (medical treatment of obesity) at Harvard University in the United States.

The main subject of my interest is the influence of nutrition on hormonal disorders and fertility disorders. For many years I have been cooperating with fertility clinics in Poland and Great Britain, where I mainly deal with couples after miscarriages and unsuccessful in vitro (IVF) procedures in terms of improving their fertility and increasing the chances of getting pregnant and having a child. Patients with insulin resistance, diabetes, obesity and Hashimoto’s disease are also at the center of my activities.

Due to my basic specialization (gynecology and obstetrics), patients suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome, menstrual and ovulation disorders, excess of androgens (male hormones) and endometriosis are particularly important in my work.

All of the above diseases are related to the disruption of the natural mechanisms of multi-level balance in the body. A rapidly developing, new branch of medicine, based on a holistic approach to the patient, is diet therapy, which is a combination of an individually selected diet, based on research results, drugs, treatment of comorbidities, supplementation and patient’s education. Using an innovative combination of these methods, I was able to successfully treat over a thousand patients.

INSULIN RESISTANCE

Insulin resistance is the body's lowered sensitivity to the effects of insulin, which regulates blood sugar levels. Insulin resistance can lead to type 2 diabetes, obesity, overweight, hormonal disorders and infertility.

FAILURES OF IN VITRO PROCEDURES

The reasons for failures of in vitro fertilization programs may include, among others. hormonal disorders, ovulation disorders and reduced quality of the partner's sperm.

ENDOMETRIOSIS

Endometriosis is a disease that causes severe pelvic pain in women. It can often cause infertility.

INFERT

In order to diagnose and introduce the proper treatment of infertility, it is necessary to carry out individual diagnostics of both partners.

MEN'S CYCLE DISORDERS

Menstrual disorders are one of the most common reasons why women visit a gynecologist. The causes of menstrual disorders vary and can often be complex.

HASHIMOTO DISEASE

This is a condition where the immune system attacks the thyroid gland. It is an inflammatory disease, also known as chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis, which is why it is often called Hashimoto's thyroiditis.

RECURRENT SHORTAGE

The common cause of spontaneous abortions in the early stage of pregnancy are genetic factors chromosomes.

POLYCYSTIC OVARY SYNDROME

Many women who hear the diagnosis wonder whether it is possible to become pregnant with polycystic ovary syndrome. The reason for concern is that the condition causes problems with ovulation and disrupts the menstrual cycle.

OBESITY

It is often heard that obesity is taking epidemic proportions. Why? Currently, the problem of obesity affects younger and younger people.
